Wrong temperature?

I bought it on sale for $0.99 and I wanted to use it in my menubar. But the menubar icons are not that pretty so I disabled this option and left the desktop option on. I would rather not have it on my desktop, and when I was first time it out, there was no way to disable the desktop option. =(
